Planned, Designed & Executed by Ashley’s Visions & Productions (AVP)
Ali & Jordan’s wedding was a beautiful fusion of South Asian tradition and modern Western elegance — a multi-day celebration thoughtfully planned, designed, and executed by Ashley’s Visions & Productions (AVP). Planning from the East Coast, they trusted our team to bring their vision to life in Houston with intentional design, cultural respect, and a cohesive aesthetic across every event.
Their wedding weekend included a vibrant Sangeet and Mehndi at Milano Event Center, an early-morning Nikkah Ceremony at the Ismaili Jamatkhana, and a modern Western-style wedding at The Astorian. Each moment was curated to honor heritage while showcasing the elevated, contemporary style they both love.

Ali & Jordan envisioned a wedding experience that merged Ali’s rich South Asian roots with the modern editorial aesthetic they share. Despite planning remotely, they remained deeply involved in design decisions, while AVP ensured every event felt connected yet unique. As a result, the weekend flowed seamlessly, building energy from one event to the next.

Vibrant. Cultural. Joyful.
Both the Sangeet and the Mehndi were hosted at Milano Event Center, creating a unified space for color, tradition, and celebration.
For the Sangeet, AVP designed a bold, high-energy experience using a palette of pink, yellow, red, and orange. Evermore brought these colors to life through immersive florals and cultural décor. A custom stage backdrop established a stunning focal point, while a custom dance floor set the tone for performances and celebration.
Guests enjoyed traditional Indian cuisine provided by Aga’s, a beloved Houston staple. The evening featured:
• A choreographed family dance
• Live performances
• A Mehndi station offering henna
• Production and lighting by Blink, creating movement and atmosphere
This lively event set the tone for an unforgettable wedding weekend.

Intimate. Traditional. Meaningful.
On the morning following the Sangeet, Ali & Jordan held their Nikkah Ceremony at the Ismaili Jamatkhana.
This intimate religious ceremony was attended by close family and celebrated with profound intention. It honored Ali’s cultural and spiritual traditions while grounding the weekend in meaning and family connection. The Nikkah added emotional depth to the overall celebration and created a beautiful transition into the Western wedding day.

Modern. Refined. Editorial.
Ali & Jordan’s Western wedding at The Astorian embraced a sleek, monochromatic, modern vision. The venue’s industrial glamour and skyline views provided the perfect canvas for AVP’s elevated design.
AVP collaborated with an exceptional creative team to bring the couple’s editorial aesthetic to life:
• Amor Del Bueno Flowers created all-white designs using orchids, hydrangeas, roses, and baby’s breath
• A dramatic floral ceiling installation added softness and modern architectural interest
• Decor by Dulce transformed the space with luxury draping, linens, and curated rentals
• Custom signage — including a modern seating chart by Reimagine and linen + stone signage from Shop by Aavlo — added sculptural detail
• Concrete table numbers and structural accents enhanced the contemporary tone
• A black-and-white custom dance floor grounded the design
Guests enjoyed custom signature cocktails and a selection of desserts including Tiny’s Cookies, Marble Slab, and a wedding cake by Cakes by Gina.
The entire day was photographed by Bri of Studio B, whose editorial approach captured the emotional moments and the intricate details woven throughout each event.
Every moment was executed with precision thanks to AVP’s team and the outstanding vendor partners.
